About Me
Madeline is a museum professional with over 6 years of experience in the field. Throughout her career, she has held roles in archival work, museum registration, education, collections management, curation, archaeological cultural resource management, and guest services. She recently completed her Master's of Art in Anthropology with a concentration in Museum and Heritage Studies at the University of Denver. Through a critical museology, queer theory, and intersectional lens, Madeline's thesis explored the incorporation, development, and public reception of LGBTQ+ history at the History Colorado Center. Currently, Madeline works as the Registrar and Assistant Curator for the Littleton Museum in Littleton, CO.
Madeline identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and is devoted to preserving LGBTQ+ history and documenting these stories for generations to come. In her work, she strives to make museum collections and exhibitions inclusive and accessible for historically underrepresented populations.
